When was the last time you upgraded or replaced your heat pump? Did you know that up to 40% of your energy bill comes from the cost of heating and cooling your house? The older your heat pump is, the more inefficient it becomes. This is not good for you or the environment because extra resources are being used and you could be spending too much money on your electric bill. Luckily, there is a cost efficient solution!

Dominion Virginia Power is currently offering rebates for residential customers who make a qualifying tune-up or upgrade to their heat pump. Depending upon the service performed, customers can qualify for between $90 and $250 in rebates to help offset the cost of service or installation. So not only will you get some of your money back, but you’ll also experience year round savings as a result of a more efficiently running system. Who wouldn’t want that?
